Position Summary:
Do you love Nashville? Are you a native (or at least claim Nashville as home?) Gray Line Tennessee is looking for friendly faces with lots of personality who want to give tourists the best view of Nashville. Our Tour Guides are the first faces new visitors see when they come to Nashville. We want you to make their tour memorable with facts and fun stories. Dont know all the cool facts about your city? Dont worry we will train you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must love Nashville! And tell a great story!
- Provide excellent customer service
- Must be able to speak fluent English
- Be able to adapt to dynamic conditions
- Must be aware of all safety procedures
- Assist guests boarding and exiting
- Be in the know about all new restaurants and hot spots
- Ability to memorize and recite facts clearly and accurately
Education, Skill, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to walk up and down staircase of bus
- Significant work experience in customer service
- Experience with public speaking is a bonus
- Exceptional communication skills
- Speaking and understanding another language is a plus!
Schedule:
- Must have weekend and holiday availability
- Additional hours may be required for peak seasons
Status: Full Time; non-exempt
