Diverse Concert Lineup Announced for Nashville’s July 4th: Lilly Hiatt, Regi Wooten and Friends and Priscilla Block with Country Music Superstar Brad Paisley to Headline Free Concert

Nashville July 4th Will Include Largest Fireworks Show in Nashville History and Live Music from Nashville Symphony.

NASHVILLE – A diverse lineup that includes rocker Lilly Hiatt, the R&B-funk-jazz sounds of Regi Wooten and Friends and country rock-southern pop artist Priscilla Block will be part of Let Freedom Sing! presented by Dr Pepper, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced today.

As previously announced, country music superstar Brad Paisley will headline Nashville’s July 4th celebration on Lower Broadway, which will feature the largest fireworks show in Nashville history with the pyrotechnics synchronized to a live performance by the GRAMMY-winning Nashville Symphony. Symphony Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero will be conducting for the first time in over a decade.

The concert stage will be located at First and Broadway and will activate at 4 p.m. with a set from DJ Robert Luke followed by live music. Jason Eskridge will perform the National Anthem, and veteran-support group Operation Song will kick off the lineup of live music. A food truck court will be at Walk of Fame Park along Fifth Avenue.

The Nashville Symphony will perform at Ascend Amphitheater at the conclusion of the concert. Sirius XM host Storme Warren will serve as emcee on the First and Broadway stage with media personality Kelly Sutton hosting at Ascend. The fireworks show will be from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“We are proud to bring together this diverse lineup to celebrate Independence Day in a big way,” said Butch Spyridon, president and CEO, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “The free event is a thank you to Nashvillians after the year we’ve had, as well as a way to jumpstart our tourism economy with an influx of visitors. They will find a lot of reasons for an extended visit to Nashville – from an ALABAMA concert at Bridgestone Arena to a Nashville SC match on July 5 to even more.”

Lilly Hiatt

Written during a winter of deep stillness and self-reflection, Lilly Hiatt’s striking new album, Walking Proof, artfully balances the songwriter’s rough rock and roll exterior with her tender, country roots, exuding a bold vulnerability as she takes a long, hard look in the mirror and deconstructs her relationship with herself and the world around her. Produced by former Cage the Elephant guitarist Lincoln Parish and featuring guest appearances from Amanda Shires, Aaron Lee Tasjan, and legendary songwriter John Hiatt (who appears on record with his daughter here for the very first time), the collection is fueled by longing and gratitude in equal measure, effortlessly shifting from gentle intimacy to brawny grit and back over the course of its eleven insightful tracks. lillyhiatt.com
