SOUNDWAVES WATER EXPERIENCE
The new indoor/outdoor water attraction is now OPEN at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville. SoundWaves is a 4 acre, 3-level, upscale water experience with dedicated recreation zones for adults, young children, and families. SoundWaves includes Decibels™, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor eating areas, plus two outdoor food trucks and multiple bars. Status Cymbal™, an adults-only pool and bar, is on the top indoor level. The indoor area lets in natural sunlight and is kept at 84 degrees all year-round. NASHVILLE YARDS
Nashville Yards is s 15-acre billion-dollar downtown development that will include the new Grand Hyatt hotel. Classified as an "upper upscale" hotel, the Grand Hyatt will rise 23 stories and contain 591 rooms at the corner of Broadway and 10th Avenue North. In addition, Amazon.com Inc. has announced the creation of 5,000 new jobs going into this location. Opening in late summer or early fall of 2020, the Grand Hyatt will rank as the third largest hotel in Nashville. nashvilleyards.com

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSIC
Opening in 2019, the National Museum of African American Music will open its doors in downtown Nashville. The museum will be the only museum dedicated to preserving the legacy and celebrating the accomplishments of the many music genres created, influenced, or inspired by African Americans. Being built in Nashville, the Museum will share the story of the American Soundtrack, integrating history and interactive technology to bring the musical heroes of the past into the present. nmaam.org
