This summer, Nashville will host the world’s largest and longest-running global whisky event and premier spirits-led educational engagement, Whisky Live USA, presented by Bevridge. Held at Gaylord Opryland on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, 24, 2022, Whisky Live USA provides the ultimate whisky experience for enthusiasts and novices alike. A community of like-minded spirits aficionados, distillers, and industry veterans from all over the world will come together to celebrate premium whiskies and spirits with exclusive tastings, education, distiller sit-downs, demonstrations, and curated food pairings. Whisky Live events first launched in Tokyo and London in 2000, in the US in 2005 and Canada in 2006, and are now held in more than 30 cities around the world. The two-day convention returns to North America for the first time in three years, and Nashville will be the only US city hosting the event in 2022.
Whisky and spirits brands from all over the world will provide tastings and the opportunity for attendees to interact with some of their favorites, as well as discover new products. To complement, spirit-inspired food pairings will be prepared by the culinary team at Gaylord Opryland. General Admission tickets, starting at $159, include all activities associated with the event and VIP Admission tickets, which start at $199, offer early entry, VIP pours, preferred seminar seating, and special gifts. Each ticket is available in one- or two-day increments, and can be purchased at https://bevridge.regfox.com/whisky-live.
Two of the eight on-site seminars include Discovery Deconstructed—a complete tasting of the individual whiskeys comprised in Bardstown Bourbon Company’s Discovery Series #7 and an immersive look at the creative process, hosted by Dan Callaway, VP of Product Development Bardstown Bourbon Company—and Go for (Double) Gold - Barrel Craft Spirits Through the Years— a tasting tour of seven Double Gold Medal winners from the Barrell Craft Spirits portfolio hosted by Barrell Bourbon.
Whisky Live USA will also offer a virtual demo stage curated by Lynnette Marrero, a featured Masterclass host in addition to being recognized with numerous awards as one of the nation’s top bartenders. Each demo will feature well-known bar talent from across the country highlighting topics such as whisky cocktails for every level of at-home bartender, how to choose and use cognac in cocktails, and how to make beautiful clear ice for your at-home cocktails. Additionally, virtual content will include a behind-the-scenes look at Kelvin Cooperage and a demonstration of what goes into barrel-making, plus distillery tours, tastings, and interviews with the American Single Malt.
