Party Fowl Announces Downtown Move Expansion

Music City’s favorite full service hot chicken restaurant announced plans today to expand its original downtown location at 719 8th Ave S. into a new, larger space in 2023. Party Fowl – famous for its Nashville hot chicken twists on classic dishes – will open at 730 8th Ave S, just across the street from the original restaurant. With six restaurants in total and additional outposts in the Nashville International Airport and Nissan Stadium, longtime customers and new fans won't have to travel far for all of Party Fowl's signature dishes and boozy slushies.

Located in the heart of the popular Gulch neighborhood, Party Fowl Downtown Nashville will offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for a total of over 350 guests. The upstairs, affectionately named "The Coop," will seat 90+ guests with a full bar, one of the restaurant's two open-air patios, tables and cabanas overlooking the city, and will be available for events and rentals. The larger space is more than double the capacity of the original location, which saw wait times of more than two hours on weekends, meaning locals and visitors alike can expect a smoother experience. Patrons can expect wall-to-wall TVs and three full-service bars, making the new Party Fowl an even better haven for game day.

“It’s bittersweet to leave our first location, as that’s the restaurant that started it all,” says Party Fowl owner Austin Smith. “These past eight-and-a-half years have been good to us. There are a lot of memories in that building, but this is a huge opportunity for us, and we are so excited to be able to welcome double the amount of hot chicken lovers through our doors!”

A Nashville staple, Party Fowl Nashville will continue to serve its fan-favorite signature hot chicken dishes, local brews, boozy slushies and highly accoladed brunch, named “Best Brunch in Tennessee” by Food Network. Also making its way to the new location will be trivia nights, new drink specials, including an all-day Sunday happy hour, and more. The restaurant will offer dine-in and take-out, as well as delivery via designated third-party apps, and guests can park with convenience and speed due to the designated onsite parking area.

The current restaurant will remain open until the transition into the new space across the street, just in time for patio season. For more information, visit www.partyfowl.com or follow along on Instagram @partyfowlnash to keep up-to-date on everything Party Fowl.
