Nightscape Announces Venue Grand Opening in Nashville

Experiential Production Company Brings Immersive Entertainment to Former 12th & Porter Building.

NASHVILLE, TN (March 21, 2022) - Nightscape, an experiential production and creative content company, has announced the grand opening of their flagship venue in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood this April. From entrepreneur and visionary Mike Weinberg, the venue will transform the former 12th & Porter space into a state-of-the-art entertainment facility with immersive, multi-sensory experiences.

The venue is outfitted with cutting-edge projection mapping, spatial audio, pixel strip lighting and modular furniture to both elevate and enhance the public’s existing definition of what’s possible at the intersection of tech and entertainment. In addition to the main immersive space, the venue features an entry lounge and full bar complete with a cocktail menu crafted by veteran bartender Nick Dolan, formerly of The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club. A full-service onsite kitchen is also available to curate event-specific culinary offerings.

The Nightscape venue will offer a blank canvas for the imagination. Visuals are cast across the walls and ceilings of the space with continuous projection, creating a seamless and immersive illusion that feels as though guests are completely encapsulated. Being inside the worlds brings together a Metaverse aspect, where one will actually feel transported into an environment, as opposed to simply viewing it. Spatial audio inside the venue builds out an extra element of realism and reinforces the narrative that one is within a different reality.

Nightscape will launch with a rotating calendar of in-house programming, exhibiting a dynamic range of worlds including sports, travel and dining. In its first ticketed event centered around the Masters golf tournament, Nightscape will redefine how people experience major sporting events. The tournament will play inside of the immersive world, which will simultaneously mirror the landscapes and environment of the Masters tournament. Later in April, the venue will launch the first iteration of its dining experiences, TASTE: A Culinary Series with ‘Italian Villa’. The environment will transport guests to an Italian-inspired estate created by Nightscape’s in-house content team, where they will feast on authentic fare and take in the sights and sounds of Italian culture.

“The opening of our public-facing venue is going to completely change what’s possible in modern entertainment,” said Nightscape Founder and CEO, Mike Weinberg. “We’re blurring the lines between the physical and digital worlds in a way that I believe will have a domino effect on how the entertainment industry continues to develop. We will constantly be evolving and pushing the bounds of creativity, with the idea that someone can walk into our space and experience something new every single time.”

In addition to Nightscape’s own internal programming, the venue will offer the ability to host unique private events with custom content and onsite catering options. The Nightscape venue will serve as a showroom for the team’s creative production arm, which will continue to curate content and experiences anywhere in the world for brands and companies of all sizes.

Nightscape’s VIP Grand Opening celebration for media and press will take place on Friday, April 1st (formal invitations to follow). Ticketed events will officially launch on April 7th, with tickets going on sale to the public March 29th.
