Jane’s Hideaway will reopen August 25

Nashville’s Bluegrass Supper Club relocates to East Nashville.

August 18, 2022 – Jane’s Hideaway will reopen in its new location at 407 Gallatin Avenue on August 25, announces owner John Peet. The move to East Nashville comes after nearly two years operating in its original downtown location, where the landlord opted not to renew their lease.

“Jane’s Hideaway has always been an honest restaurant that offers delicious Southern food, creative drinks, an impressive Tennessee whiskey list, and live music for locals - and visitors who want the local experience,” said Peet. “We could not be more excited to have found a home in East Nashville.”

Upon opening, Jane’s Hideaway will offer dinner, drinks, and live music five nights a week, with bluegrass brunch to resume in the coming weeks. Opening hours will be Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday & Saturday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

“We’ve made some tweaks to accommodate and honor the vibe of our new home in East Nashville, but the heart of Jane’s Hideaway remains,” said Peet. “It’s a more intimate space, which will allow guests to connect with the live modern Americana music while also able to hold conversations with their friends as beautiful bluegrass instruments are played onstage. We have updated the menu to make it more casual and approachable, with a little less emphasis on plating and more on making good, southern meals. I like to call it hip southern. I’m especially proud of our robust Tennessee whiskey list, which is a great compliment to our full offerings of seasonal craft cocktails, local beer, and wine.”

The East Nashville location features work by local artists, including wall mural by Brandon Owens, photography collage by Robbie Stilwell, a polished concrete bar by Abstrakt Concrete, and recycled teak wood tables handmade by the Jane’s Hideaway team.

Jane’s Hideaway is a restaurant, bar and venue, serving up reinvented Southern classics alongside live music from the next generation of bluegrass and Americana virtuosos. Relocated from downtown to the heart of East Nashville, the open, airy space includes banquette seating, a long bar with full dinner service, and standing room for enjoying the show. With dinner service and weekend bluegrass brunch, Jane’s Hideaway offers a hip take on southern food with a variety of inventive snacks, shareable plates, and the kind of dinner you want to eat every day. The cocktail program offers seasonally rotating craft cocktails, an excellent selection of Tennessee whiskey, and an array of local beer and spirits.

Virtuoso players take the stage nightly at Jane’s Hideaway, performing a modern twist on Bluegrass and Americana music with acoustic instruments, mixing in some of your favorite songs you forgot you loved. The house band and visiting guest artists set a diverse and upbeat mood ideal for both locals and visitors who want to enjoy a live show with their drinks or dinner. For more information, visit Jane’s Hideaway online.
