NASHVILLE, Tennessee (March 2022) ART on the West Side announces its eighth consecutive juried art show, showcasing over 30 local and nationally recognized artists, and representing mediums including paint, sculpture, jewelry design, clay and fiber, wood, and glass. This year’s curator Beth Easter, alongside the artist selection committee, reviewed close to 500 pieces submitted by more than 80 artists. The show will appeal to a wide audience of art enthusiasts and collectors with art at many price points. Artists also will be present and available to speak with attendees and art enthusiasts.

“It is said that visual arts can express where words fall short. The last few years have brought experiences where collectively we feel speechless. Art on the West Side celebrates a language of beauty, inspiration for our hearts and souls. I am so excited for this gathering of artists and the feast they bring to our senses to inspire beauty, hope and creativity” Beth Easter, Art on the West Side Curator.

The event begins the evening of Saturday, April 9th, at the Gordon Jewish Community Center, 801 Percy Warner Blvd, 37205 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. On Sunday, April 10th, the event opens at 10am and runs until 4pm. This event is free and open to the public. A percentage of all sales from ART on the West Side benefit art programming at the Gordon JCC.
