CHICAGO (Aug. 30, 2021)—U.S. Soccer and Budweiser are teaming up to host fans in Nashville at the U.S. Soccer X Budweiser Kickoff Party on Sept. 4, the night before the U.S. Men’s National Team takes on Canada in its first home match of World Cup qualifying.
Fans can look forward to music, giveaways, an appearance from USMNT legend DaMarcus Beasley and more on Nashville’s largest rooftop- the Assembly Food Hall's third floor- from 6-8 p.m. Located near the corner of 5th and Broadway, those interested in attending can RSVP for the event here. The first 100 fans to RSVP will be entered into a raffle to win a jersey or match-issued ball.
U.S. Soccer X Budweiser Kickoff Parties will take place before each USMNT home World Cup qualifying match. The event in Nashville will feature live music from Sam McCrary and The Mix plus DJ Flipside spinning tunes. Fans will have a chance to take home match-issued balls, jerseys, koozies and other U.S. Soccer gear through raffles and giveaways.
“We’re excited to partner with U.S. Soccer for the upcoming Kickoff Parties,” said Matt Davis, Head of US Sports Marketing, Anheuser-Busch. “Budweiser is proud to support the USMNT and bring its fans and community together before they cheer on the USA for each match.”
The Kickoff Party comes as part of U.S. Soccer’s “Countdown to World Cup Qualifying,” which launched this week with the unveiling of the USMNT’s “Only Forward” campaign and announcement of the USA roster for its three September qualifiers. The USMNT kicks off qualifying on Thursday, Sept. 2 at El Salvador (10 p.m. ET; CBS Sports Network, Paramout+, Universo) before taking on Canada at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 5 (FS1, UniMás, TUDN). A number of fan and community-focused events will take place in Music City during the lead-up to USA-Canada. The USMNT finishes its first set of games on the road to Qatar with a match-up at Honduras on Wednesday, Sept. 8 (10 p.m. ET; Paramount+, Universo).
Budweiser, an American-style lager, was introduced in 1876 when company founder Adolphus Busch set out to create the United States' first truly national beer brand – brewed to be universally popular and transcend regional tastes. Each batch of Budweiser stays true to the same family recipe used by five generations of Busch family brewmasters. Budweiser is a medium-bodied, flavorful, crisp and pure beer with blended layers of premium American and European hop aromas, brewed for the perfect balance of flavor and refreshment. Budweiser is made using time-honored methods including "kraeusening" for natural carbonation and Beechwood aging, which results in unparalleled balance and character.
