Gold Circle and Big Bash Visitor Packages Now on Sale

NASHVILLE – CBS Special New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash will be hosted by radio and TV personality Bobby Bones and co-hosted by Rachel Smith of “Entertainment Tonight.” The celebration to ring in the New Year will air LIVE from Music City Friday, Dec. 31 (7:00-10:00 PM, CT, 10:30 PM-12:30 AM, CT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.* The live concert at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is free and open to the public.

As previously announced, Dierks Bentley and Lady A will headline the live concert and CBS broadcast of New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. The five-hour CBS broadcast marks the first time for Music City to anchor an entire New Year’s Eve national TV special. Six additional mainstage guest artists will be announced.

“I’m so excited to celebrate and host New Year’s Eve this year right down the street from my house, with so many of my friends who have great performances planned,” Bones said. “I can’t wait to show America how special Nashville is.”

As previously announced, the star-studded entertainment special will feature nearly 50 high-energy performances by country music’s hottest superstars, including Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, and Cole Swindell. Some performances will not be open to the public but will be shown on the CBS broadcast. The five-hour broadcast will cross multiple time zones, with the traditional countdown at midnight, ET, culminating with the renowned Nashville Music Note Drop® and fireworks at midnight, CT.

Gates for the live show at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park will open at 4pm. Please note, proof of vaccination or negative test (within 72 hours) may be required for entry into Bicentennial Mall. The Fisk Jubilee Singers, a world-renowned ensemble that will perform a selection of spiritual music at the top of the show. The show’s highlight will be the traditional Music Note Drop with a three-minute fireworks display at midnight to usher in the New Year. As a live event, New Year’s Eve generates as much as $26.2 million in direct visitor spending and an attendance of 200,000.
