Nashville, TN—(MAY 24, 2021) -- Pennington Distilling Company, an award-winning spirits company, announces "The Davidson Reserve Blend Your Own Bottle Experience", a new sensory adventure for whiskey enthusiasts. Pennington Distilling Company’s Jeff Pennington, Owner and co-founder, Carter Collins, Master Distiller, along with a knowledgeable staff of blenders, guide the guests through their personalized adventure of blending their unique Tennessee, Bourbon, or Rye Whiskey from the aged barrels in our rick house.

The Davidson Reserve's “Blend Your Own Bottle” Experience includes:
SAMPLING
Guests choose sample selections of Tennessee Whiskey, Bourbon, or Rye that come from barrels chosen by Jeff Pennington and Carter Collins. These variations are the basis for building a personal blend.
TASTING
Guests taste each sample and record their impressions. The flavor wheel will assist in identifying notable tastes to build a flavor profile for each guest's palate.
BLENDING
Guests then blend their different combinations, building aroma, body, and finish into a personalized final blend.
BOTTLING
After designing the custom blend, a personalized bottle will await each guest at the end of the event.
This one-of-a-kind blending experience is offered the second Tuesday of each month beginning Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. CST. The event is limited to 24 guests. A private evening can be booked with the special events department. The cost of $200 per person includes the Blend Your Own Bottle experience, a self-guided distillery tour, catered hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and a personalized engraved Davidson Reserve bottle. Guests may also purchase up to 5 additional bottles of their blend for $75 per bottle.

Davidson Reserve is the truest expression of what originally inspired the Pennington's to open a distillery in Nashville. It’s the first locally distilled six-year-old Tennessee Whiskey since Prohibition and is a reflection of Tennessee's heritage and history that connects us to a long (and storied) history of distilling alcohol in our home state.
Davidson Reserve joins the very small club of Tennessee distilleries that perform every function of the production process on-site. At our facility in West Nashville, we do everything except grow the grain, which is sourced locally from Renfroe Farms just up the road in Huntington, Tennessee. Davidson Reserve is one of the first distilleries in Tennessee to receive the sought-after "bottled-in-bond" designation since the laws were changed in 2009.
