Gray & Dudley Announces Upcoming Cocktails for a Cause

Guests support the local community through specialty cocktails

NASHVILLE, TN (June 21, 2021) - Today, Gray and Dudley, located in the premier boutique hotel 21c Museum Hotel announced upcoming Cocktails for a Cause. The cocktails for the following months will be: July, 2ndavestrong, August, Nashville Repertory Theater, September, Giving Kitchen, October, Gilda’s Club and November, Nashville Design Week. The Cocktail for a Cause is a program created by Gray and Dudley to support the local community. Beverage Director, Matias Yerrick works with local non-profit organizations by inviting key members of the organization to help create a custom cocktail. Throughout the specific month proceeds of each sale go directly to the organization. Past cocktails have supported YWCA of Middle Tennessee, “Just Us” at the Oasis Center and more.

The beverage program at Gray and Dudley, led by Yerrick, has been created to offer a balance between topically inspired cocktails like the David! Stop acting like a disgruntled pelican!, local and regional beers and a robust wine cellar. Guests are invited to enjoy a variety of beverages of their choice as they explore the multi-floor contemporary art museum. Gray and Dudley offers incredible cuisine pairings for the monthly cocktails spearheaded by Executive Chef Matt Bell. The cocktail for July will be the Market Street Caipirinha. Inspired by Second Avenue mainstay Rodizio Grill, this cocktail pays homage to the many businesses that have made Second Avenue, originally named Market Street, their home. The cocktail is made with: Batavia Arrack van Oosten, demerara syrup, lime juice and topped with sparkling wine to create a smoky and effervescent summer cocktail.

After a year of closures and uncertainty, the Cocktail for a Cause program is a way for Gray and Dudley to give back to the community that has supported them since opening in 2017. “We are passionate about giving back to the local community,” said Juan Fernandez, managing director of the 21c Museum Hotel. “Our entire hotel group was created as a way to share art with the local community and we embody that spirit of sharing through everything that we do. The Cocktail for a Cause program is one more way that we can support our local community.”

Cocktail for a Cause will change each month and will run through the end of the year. For more information please visit grayanddudley.com.
