NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 25, 2020 – The Good to Go program, launched just last month by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC), Vanderbilt Health and Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RHP), has received more than 600 pledges from local business owners and leaders, committing to implement specific health standards and best practices to ensure a safe reopening of Music City. Participating businesses represent various industry sectors from neighborhoods throughout Davidson and surrounding counties.

Earlier this month, these businesses began receiving the signature green music note window decals indicating their participation in Good to Go, and residents and visitors should start seeing these decals pop up in the windows of business across Nashville. Participating businesses are also provided the icon to use on their websites and promotional materials and are recognized on a new Good to Go website which will be promoted to visitors. Additionally, as visitors plan their trips to Music City, they can go to the NCVC’s visitmusicity.com website to view business profiles of Good to Go members, which are indicated by a green music note icon as part of their profile. Business profiles of hotels, restaurants, attractions and more are listed at  visitmusiccity.com/members/member-directory.

The Good to Go participating businesses represent a wide variety of industries and types of establishments in Nashville, including attractions, museums, commercial businesses, professional services, schools and childcare, events and entertainment, fitness, health care, hotel and lodging, news and media, restaurants, bars, retail, salons, spas and parlors, sports teams and sporting venues, transportation, and travel and tourism. Major hospitality industry partners like Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Music City Center are members, as well. A full list of participating businesses can be found at goodtogonashville.com. Participating businesses are located in neighborhoods throughout Davidson County, including Antioch, Belle Meade, Belmont/Hillsboro Village, Berry Hill, Broadway/Downtown, Donelson, East Nashville, Germantown, Green Hills, Metro Center, Midtown, Music Valley/Opryland, North Nashville, South Nashville and West Nashville.

“We are blown away by the enthusiastic response and participation of so many local businesses so early in the launch of our Good to Go program, and we appreciate all our participants who are abiding by these safety guidelines,” said Butch Spyridon, president and CEO of NCVC. “We are eager to show the world that through cooperation and collaboration, Nashville is safe and sound, giving all who live and come to Nashville confidence and peace of mind that we are safely open for business.”

The group has also secured SERVPRO as the program’s sponsor.  SERVPRO, which is headquartered in Gallatin and is the nation’s leader in cleanup and restoration, has been on the front lines of the pandemic, completing 10,000 COVID-related jobs in the last 90 days across the U.S. The company recently launched Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned, a robust cleaning program designed to help the country safely get back to work, back to school, and back to life's daily activities. The SERVPRO sponsorship will provide additional support for promoting the program – and Good to Go businesses – to residents and visitors of Nashville. As an added perk, SERVPRO will offer a special discount for specific cleaning and disinfecting services to Good to Go participating businesses.

“At SERVPRO, our goal is to help America reopen safely and that starts with our hometown here in Nashville,” said Mike Stahl, chief marketing officer of SERVPRO.  “We’re proud to partner with the Good to Go program where we can lend our specific expertise in COVID cleaning to our neighbors and fellow businesses who call Middle Tennessee home. We applaud the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp for their leadership in creating the Good to Go program to get Music City safely back up and running.”

Good to Go’s voluntary program provides guidance from the Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with access to toolkits and support to help carry out the recommendations.  Vanderbilt Health’s leading infectious disease experts helped develop key elements of the program and will be involved with ongoing learning and information sharing. Good to Go businesses also get access to training modules and other first-hand experience from Ryman Hospitality Properties, as well as opportunities to network and share experiences with others in the program.

The NCVC, Vanderbilt Health and Ryman Hospitality Proprieties are voluntarily offering this program for the benefit of the Nashville community. Businesses interested in joining Good to Go can sign up online at www.GoodtoGoNashville.com.
