Fairlane Hotel to Welcome Local Culinary Delights Juniper Green and Cheese Gal

Both locally owned companies to occupy market and event space in Fairlane Hotel, adding to the dynamic offerings in the downtown arts district.

NASHVILLE, TENN. (September 17, 2020) – Beginning this fall, the Fairlane Hotel will have two new well-known additions from the local culinary industry. Juniper Green, known for its quality seasonal event catering and at-home meal options, will be popping up for three months in the Fairlane. This seasonal engagement, which includes private event options, will span the holidays. Cheese Gal, known for its bountiful cheese and charcuterie boards, is making the Fairlane its new home.

The Fairlane, an Oliver Hospitality property, is excited to offer these local gems to their guests, and also to the downtown arts district and the city as a whole. “Both Juniper Green and Cheese Gal offer exceptionally high-quality culinary delights, making them a perfect fit for the Fairlane,” said Ethan Orley, managing partner of Oliver Hospitality, owner of the Fairlane Hotel. Juniper Green and Cheese Gal are joining Ellington’s, the full-service restaurant inside the Fairlane, for a total of food and beverage offerings inside the hotel.

Juniper Green, owned by longtime Nashville culinarian Molly Martin, started in 2017 as a seasonally-driven, high-quality catering company. Juniper Green focuses on offering sensational menus for small business and family events. From weekly market meals for families at home and drop-off dinner party packages for group gatherings, all the way to custom, private chef experiences, Juniper Green delivers its fresh, flavorful offerings to the Nashville area.

“Being able to pop up at the Fairlane Hotel during this holiday season is going to be a really fun opportunity for us to connect with even more people in Nashville,” said Martin. “We are so excited to offer grab-and-go lunch options for folks in the area, as well as a private dining options for families or quaranteams. We look forward to working with the Fairlane Hotel team and neighbors to the Cheese Gal.”

Cheese Gal, also known as Cortney LaCorte, has been crafting her expansive cheese and charcuterie boards with ample accoutrements for many years. However, it was less than two years ago that LaCorte realized she could make a successful business out of her passion projects. In 2019, Cheese Gal was born in a small Nashville kitchen and has been full steam ahead ever since.

“It has been such a pleasure to work with the Fairlane to bring a brick-and-mortar Cheese Gal location to life,” said LaCorte. “The ability to collaborate with the Fairlane and Juniper Green has really been more than I could have hoped for. I see a lot of fruitful opportunities in our future!”

Cheese Gal will offer expanded pick up hours of 10:30am to 5:30pm, with pick up easily accessible from the valet lane. There are also plans to open a dining room in the coming months as well. All ordering can be done online via the Cheese Gal website.

Starting October 1, Juniper Green will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm for grab-and-go lunch options, as well as expanded options for curbside pickup or delivery. Some regular market menu options will include green quinoa, made with herb + pepita pesto, caramelized onion, and fresh arugula; Heirloom Potato Salad, made with sumac aioli, scallion, parsley, celery, and lots of dill; and curry chicken salad, made with slow roasted chicken, golden raisins, celery, scallions, almonds, curry aioli. Market menu options will be sold in half pints, pints, or as part of a trio. Customers will also be able to pick up weekly market meals or other dinner party options from the valet lane at the Fairlane Hotel. Orders will still be taken online. Event room rentals will also begin that day, with the ability to host groups up to 30 in the private space. Juniper Green is also continually exploring creative ways to safely host groups. Private event inquiries will be taken via the Juniper Green website.
