Acme Radio Live & The Groove have teamed up again for their 4th consecutive Record Store Day but this year is even bigger & better than the last. What started as a free backyard concert has morphed into a small-scale festival. With powering partner Do615, this year’s event will feature two different stages bringing you 21 local and touring acts. Long story short, we got way more music this year y’all.

Quantity and quality are covered in our lineup this year. Billing on the main stage includes a wide array of artists representing all scenes in the Nashville Community and beyond such as Chuck Indigo, Babe Club, Keeps, Tristen, Ian Ferguson with headlining act, Fly Golden Eagle leads us into a super jam featuring locally loved crew, Teddy & The Rough Riders. The songwriter stage will be home to local favorites like Ryan Sobb, Harmaleighs, Grumpy, Dylan Smucker, Tim Gent, SonTalk and some very special guests TBA.

We’ve proudly partnered with Do615, Patron, WeGo Public Transit, Friendly Arctic, Hap & Harry’s, Yazoo, Montucky Cold Snacks, VIVE Hard Seltzer, Porter Road Butcher, Lucky Diamond Vinyl, Thunder Audio, Gardens of Babylon, and Lovenoise to give us a well-rounded vibe and keep the cold drinks coming. Food Trucks on site are local staples, The Gambling Stick, The Mac Shack, and Urban Juicer. In light of the recent tragedy that struck Nashville last week, A portion of proceeds will go towards disaster and tornado relief efforts through Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and Bonaparte’s Retreat.

This event holds a special place in Acme Radio’s heart and we’re so excited to be bringing it back for the 4th year in a row. Our mission for discovery and preservation of Authentic Music City becomes fully realized with Record Store Day at The Groove as it shines a light on Nashville’s rising music scene while drawing attention to preserving an important community event for small local businesses.

ABOUT RECORD STORE DAY:

Record Store Day is an annual event that was created in 2007 and held on a Saturday every April to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. The day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores across the world. This is a day for the people who make up the world of the record store - the staff, the customers, and the artists - to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities. Special vinyl, CD releases, and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day.
