6th Annual Goo Goo Summer Chef Series Lineup Announced

Goo Goo is thrilled to announce the lineup for their upcoming 2020 Goo Goo Summer Chef Series.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Goo Goo is thrilled to announce the lineup for their upcoming 2020 Goo Goo Summer Chef Series. Launching on Wednesday, July 8th and running through the end of September, this year’s series will feature:

  • Nina Singto of Thai Esane
  • Vivek Surti of Tailor Nashville
  • Aqui Hines of 400 Degrees Hot Chicken
  • Brian Riggenbach of The Mockingbird
  • David Tieman of Five Points Pizza
  • Skylar Bush of Edible Nashville

During the Summer Chef Series, each participating chef collaborates with Mike Colón, Pastry Chef of the Goo Goo Shop and Dessert Bar, to bring to life a candy creation that is reflective of their cuisine, style, or background. Flavors will rotate throughout the series, with a new flavor releasing every two weeks, and each available for purchase for at least four weeks. These new Premium Goo Goos will be announced on the brand’s social media channels and website, googoo.com, as they are launched.

The new confections will be available for purchase at the Goo Goo Shop in downtown Nashville and online, with a percentage of sales benefitting the Nashville Food Project. In addition to Goo Goo’s retail channels, some of the chefs’ own restaurants will feature their creations for a limited time on dessert menus or as a grab-and-go item.

About Goo Goo Cluster

In 1912, in a copper kettle at Standard Candy Company in Nashville, Tennessee, America’s first combination candy bar was born. The Original Goo Goo Cluster is a roundish mound of caramel, marshmallow nougat, fresh roasted peanuts, and real milk chocolate. Today, the Goo Goo Cluster is also available in two additional varieties: Pecan and Peanut Butter.

Still family owned and operated, the brand expanded beyond manufacturing in 2014 with the opening of their flagship Goo Goo Shop & Dessert Bar located in downtown Nashville. To learn more, follow Goo Goo Cluster on Twitter or Instagram @googooclusters, or visit googoo.com.
