Remington College launches new music program at Nashville campus with Grammy-nominated producer

Music Program To Be Led By Multi-Platinum Selling Producer, “Wyshmaster”.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2019) – Remington College launches a partnership with Grammy-nominated music producer Adam Cherrington (known as Wyshmaster) to direct its new Beat Production and Recording Arts Technology Program at the college’s Nashville campus.

The campus will host a Grand Opening event for its new music facility on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 6-9 p.m. The free event will allow the public to tour the facility, meet Wyshmaster and learn more about the Program.

The Beat Production and Recording Arts Technology Diploma Program provides training in the music business, beats production, music marketing, songwriting, and vocal production. The Program will prepare graduates for entry-level positions in a number of music industry occupations such as producing, marketing and selling Beats.

The Program may be completed in as few as eight months, and the Program is divided into eight monthly academic periods (modules), which are delivered in a hybrid format. In the hybrid format, courses may include in-person (at the campus) and online components. Upon successful completion of all areas of this Program, graduates will be awarded a Diploma in Beat Production and Recording Arts Technology.

“It’s our mission at Remington College to offer students the highest learning experience, and that means providing opportunities for them to study under industry experts,” said Remington College President Pam Bell. “We are thrilled to partner with Adam Cherrington in the launch of this new music program, and what better place to do it than in Music City?”

Cherrington, a multi-platinum selling music producer, will serve as the Creative Director of Music and Arts for the college’s program. Cherrington has since sold millions of records as a music producer and worked with some of the industry’s most elite artists and companies including Nelly, Tech N9ne, BET, Universal Pictures, Pitbull, Rick Ross and many more.

Remington previewed the new music program earlier this year with a “Beat Tour” in Memphis. To learn more about the Beat Production and Recording Arts Technology Program, visit here.
