AND THEN THERE WERE FOUR
RUBY SUNSHINE COMING SOON TO NASHVILLE

Following a successful debut in downtown Franklin, the all-day breakfast restaurant, Ruby Sunshine, has announced plans to open later this year in Nashville’s Hillsboro Village. The newest concept from Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, the collective behind the acclaimed New Orleans-based eatery Ruby Slipper Café, Ruby Sunshine offers NOLA-inspired twists on Southern brunch classics, including benedicts, pancakes, and French Toast, as well as eye-opening cocktails. Owned and operated by the Ruby Slipper Café founders, this will be the fourth Ruby Sunshine location, following Franklin, Knoxville, and Birmingham, with more to come through 2020. Located in the former home of Provence Breads & Café, the restaurant will provide a vibrant and inviting atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating for 174 guests.

THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Inspired by the powerful sense of homecoming they felt when they returned to New Orleans post-Hurricane Katrina, husband and wife duo Jennifer and Erich Weishaupt opened the original Ruby Slipper Café in an effort to help draw people back to their Mid-City New Orleans neighborhood. Born from that cozy storefront in 2008, Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group has grown to operate 10 Ruby Slipper Café locations across the Gulf Region and is quickly expanding throughout the region with soon-to-be four Ruby Sunshine locations, providing new audiences with the unique flavors and hospitality that Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is known and loved for.

BREAKFAST STAPLES WITH A NOLA SPIN

Guests can expect all-day brunch and eye-opening cocktails served at Ruby Sunshine seven days a week. The menu will echo the one at Ruby Slipper Café, featuring award-winning New Orleans twists on Southern breakfast staples like Bananas Foster Pain Perdu, Catfish and Grits, White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, and an array of benedicts as well as morning time cocktails like Big Easy Mimosas, Brandy Milk Punch and, of course, their award-winning Bloody Marys. Ruby Sunshine incorporates fresh and local ingredients in its inspired menu whenever possible and recently partnered with Goo Goo Cluster to create a specialty pancake surrounding the Franklin location opening in March. The brand is looking forward to collaborating with other business and purveyors in the Nashville area leading up to the Hillsboro Village opening.
