Nashville's Downtown Food Hall reveals name and announces more restaurant partners

'Assembly Food Hall’ attracts DeSano Pizzeria, Zulema’s Taqueria, and NoBaked Cookie Dough to new dining and entertainment space.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 12, 2019) – Marking a milestone in the progress of bringing a world-class food hall to downtown Nashville, today, The Food Hall Co. unveiled the official name of the dining and entertainment space. Named Assembly Food Hall, the new food hall will bring together locals and guests to experience some of the best culinary talent in Music City.

The European-style food hall has also announced its third wave of restaurant partners – DeSano Pizzeria, Zulema’s Taqueria and NoBaked Cookie Dough. Favorites among the local community, these diverse concepts join an esteemed group of regionally-based chefs, restaurateurs, and entrepreneurs that The Food Hall Co. has curated for their newest location in the Fifth + Broadway development.

“We wanted the name of the food hall to reflect the Southern tradition and culture rooted in Nashville,” said Joseph A. Magliarditi, president and CEO of The Food Hall Co. “The name ‘Assembly Food Hall’ is a nod to an authentic gathering place in the South, one that welcomes locals and visitors alike and features a snapshot of the most iconic dishes and entertainment Music City has to offer. We want Assembly Food Hall to be Nashville’s gathering place.”

Opening in Fall 2020, Assembly Food Hall is adding pizza, street tacos, and a cookie dough dessert to its unparalleled line-up of more than 20 local and regional restaurant groups. This latest announcement of partners joins beloved favorites like Prince’s Hot Chicken, The Pharmacy Burger, The Donut + Dog, Edley’s Bar-B-Que, and Hattie Jane’s Creamery, which will make up the 100,000 square-foot venue.

DeSano Pizzeria will be bringing their Italian wood-fired pizzas to the unique concept. The Neapolitan-style menu features a selection of red-sauced and white pizzas, plus calzones, salads, meatballs and dessert pizzas. Zulema’s Taqueria, a Latin American-inspired cuisine owned by Zulema and Kurt Rutkowski, blends her Mexican cooking traditions with his culinary experience for unique tacos with authentic flavors. NoBaked Cookie Dough satisfies the cookie dough craze, bringing a trendy twist on dessert to the space with flavors like Chocolate Chip, Brownie Batter Chip and Confetti Sugar.

Additional restaurants will be announced leading up to the food hall’s opening. For more information about Assembly Food Hall, visit foodhallco.com.
