NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 1, 2019)---Tennessee’s longest-running home event, the 36th Nashville Home Show, heads back to the Music City Center September 6-8 with TLC’s “Trading Spaces” designer Laurie Smith headlining and featuring over 200 inspiring home industry experts, Made In America on-site market, pet plaza and delicious cooking demos from Food Network’s “Master Chef” and “Chopped” finalists.

One of the year’s top home resource events, Eric Udler, event producer, said the Nashville Home Show is a great afternoon of family fun while helping home enthusiasts shop, save and compare under one roof including kitchen and bath inspiration.  

“For 36 years, this event has provided the opportunity to find great resources for home improvement and repair projects. This year, visitors will love the talented and popular “Trading Spaces” designer Laurie Smith who will definitely inspire some new home ideas while providing a fascinating, behind-the-scenes look at this iconic show. We’re thrilled our Made In America Marketplace for on-site shopping returns and we have some great DIY crafts with Chalk Couture,” Udler said. 

On the main inspirations stage, created by EClan Design and ReFresh Home, guests will find advice from area interior designers, easy green living tips with popular Family Focus Blogger Scarlet Paolicchi and a home experts panel with My Southern Home television show host Kimberly Greenwell. 

Food Network stars will be featured on the cooking stage including Yachecia Holston, Master Chef Season 8, top 5 finalists, and Chopped finalist, The Bitter Socialite, Trace Barnett, who also competed in “The Next Food Network Star” and “Comeback Kitchen.”  Author/chef C. New features this year include the Pet Plaza and a Home Depot DIY workshop for kids. The Nashville Home Show is working with area rescue groups, East Community Action Network (CAN), Music City Animal Rescue, Critter Calvary and New Leash On Life, to have adorable dogs on-site for adoption. There also will be shopping for the family pet. Home Depot has a clever DIY workshop for kids on a first-come, first-serve basis throughout the show.
