Madame Tussauds Nashville Kicks Off $10 Tickets for Tennessee Residents and Hosts Brenda Lee Vinyl Release Event on November 23

'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree - The Decca Christmas Recordings' Available on Vinyl For First Time.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 20, 2019) —Just in time for the holiday season, Madame Tussauds Nashville is offering Tennessee residents a fun—and affordable—way to spend time with family and friends. From Nov. 23 through Jan. 5, Tennessee residents can visit the music-themed wax attraction for only $10 plus tax with proof of ID.

The special promotion kicks off Saturday, Nov. 23—the same day Madame Tussauds Nashville is hosting an in-store event with Nashville-native Brenda Lee to celebrate the vinyl release of “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree: The Decca Christmas Recordings.” This is the first time all 18 of Lee’s Christmas recordings for Decca Records will be available to fans on vinyl. The vinyl release party package is $34.99 plus tax and includes admission, limited edition vinyl record or CD, a meet & greet with Brenda Lee from 1-3 p.m. and a souvenir photo.

“It’s an honor to have Nashville’s own Brenda Lee with us as we launch our special holiday rate for Tennessee residents,” said Kelly Field, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Nashville. “’Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’ is one of those classic holiday hits that resonates across generations. We’re thrilled to celebrate its vinyl release here in Brenda’s hometown.”

Visitors can also take advantage of the Tennessee resident rate on Thanksgiving Day. Madame Tussauds Nashville will open at 5 p.m. that day—one hour earlier than Opry Mills Mall where the attraction is located. Guests are invited to experience the interactive attraction and pose for selfies with famous stars from musical genres such as country, rock, jazz, blues and pop.

Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons, achieving the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the almost 250-year old Madame Tussauds legacy.

Nashville figures include Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Carrie Underwood, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, George Jones, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Pearl, Ozzie Osbourne, BB King, Luke Bryan, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and many more.
