A conversation with John Cusack with screening of 'Say Anything' comes to TPAC July 31

Hollywood icon John Cusack makes his way to Music City for a live conversation and audience Q&A on July 31 at Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Polk Theater.

Tickets on sale Friday, May 17, at TPAC.org

Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at TPAC.org, by phone at 615-782-4040, and at the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick St., in downtown Nashville.

With four decades’ worth of roles in more than 70 films, Cusack will share stories from his career, answer audience questions, and give a behind-the-scenes look into his breakout role as Lloyd Dobler, following a screening of the iconic 1989 film “Say Anything.”

Ranked by Entertainment Weekly as one of the greatest modern movie romances (and #11 on the list of 50 best high-school movies), “Say Anything” made a star out of Cusack, who went on to success in multiple films including “High Fidelity,” “Grosse Point Blank,” and “Being John Malkovich,” among others. Now fans will have the unique and rare opportunity to experience a moderated conversation with him answering audience questions. A limited number of VIP seats will be available, which include a post-show photo opportunity.
