Greetings From Nashville and Garden & Gun Bring Music City to Charleston this November

Two-week Pop-Up Features Nashville Designers, Makers, Musicians, and Chefs

CHARLESTON, SC (November 14, 2019) - The Callaway and Garden & Gun and The Dewberry are pleased to announce the Charleston installment of Greetings From Nashville (GFN), a pop-up concept highlighting Nashville’s creative culture. Curated by Nashville-based communications company The Callaway, GFN brings the work of the celebrated Tennessee city’s top designers, artists, makers, musicians, and chefs together in a traveling pop-up. GFN will take place from November 21 through December 6 at The Dewberry hotel located in historic downtown Charleston (334 Meeting Street). The two-week residency marks The Callaway concept’s return to the South after a successful premiere at Brooklyn’s Wythe Hotel in October 2018.

During its two-week stopover in Charleston, Greetings from Nashville will spotlight top talent from Nashville’s music and culinary scenes. Singer-songwriters Allison Moorer and Mando Saenz will play intimate acoustic sets in The Living Room at The Dewberry and Chef Julia Sullivan of the critically lauded Nashville restaurant Henrietta Red will join Chef Michael Semancik to prepare a special meal at Henrietta’s, The Dewberry’s auspiciously named marquee restaurant.

Additionally, GFN will takeover Fieldshop by Garden & Gun’s retail location on the ground floor of the hotel. The retail experience will feature a curated selection of apparel, accessories, apothecary, home goods, and art, all designed or produced in Nashville, as well as vintage pieces and one-of-akind and limited edition exclusives. Vendors include imogene + willie, Little Seed Farm, Salt Ceramics, and the Country Music Hall of Fame plus select vendors will be visiting the store for trunk shows. The Greetings From Nashville retail pop-up debuts at Fieldshop on November 2 and will be open daily through December 6 with the exception of Thanksgiving day. Store Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10 am– 6 pm and Sunday, 11 am–5 pm.

“I’m excited to introduce Charleston to some of the most influential people in Nashville’s creative community,” says Libby Callaway, founder of The Callaway. A native Tennessean who spent a decade working in media in Manhattan, Callaway originally conceived GFN as a way to expose her friends in New York to the exciting and diverse talent in her adopted hometown. “Greetings from Nashville had a very successful maiden run in Brooklyn last fall, but it feels good to bring the concept back to the South. I think that Charlestonians are going to be really impressed by the lineup.”
