Festivities return to Two Rivers Mansion on Oct. 19 with 10th Annual Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival

The non-profit festival features local, regional and national beer and wine selections, food vendors and more.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 10th annual Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. on the grounds of the historic Two Rivers Mansion in Donelson. The annual outdoor event raises funds for local non-profit organizations in the Hermitage and Donelson communities.

“The Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival is a great opportunity for beer and wine aficionados or those interested in learning more about local, regional and national beer and wine to taste and enjoy in a beautiful, historic setting at Two Rivers Mansion,” said Bill Lafollette, chair of the Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival's volunteer planning committee. "In addition to dozens of beverages to try, the 10th annual festival features live entertainment, food vendors and artisan booths, all while supporting the local community. Attendees will take home a commemorative glass and be invited to the after-party at Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill to continue the celebration.”

Every year, more than 2,000 enthusiastic beer and wine tasters stroll along the shaded grounds of Two Rivers Mansion while sampling more than 100 different beers and 90 selections of wine, including local varieties, such as Tennessee Brew Works and The Black Abbey Brewing Company. The 2019 festival will also feature artisan booths, food vendors and local entertainment.

In the past nine years, the Tennessee Beer and Wine Festival has raised more than $300,000 for local Donelson and Hermitage charities. Recipients of these funds include Friends of Two Rivers Mansion, McGavock Elementary, The Family Center, Leadership Donelson Hermitage, Fifty Forward Donelson Center and more.   Tickets are on sale now and include access to the event, samples of beer and wine, a commemorative tasting glass and an invite to the event’s official after-party at Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill.
