The 2019 Cornelia Fort Pickin' Party returns to East Nashville's Cornelia Fort AirPark on Saturday, July 27th, August 24th, September 21st, and October 5th. This year's musical line up includes Brazilbilly, Sierra Ferrell, The Farmer & Adele, Michigan Rattlers, and more.
Combining the tastes and talents of East Nashville, The Cornelia Fort Pickin’ Party helps preserve one of the city’s most unique landmarks, the Cornelia Fort AirPark. The music series will continue once a month from July through October offering music from the finest bluegrass, folk, and Americana bands around as well as tasty craft beer and purveyors of fine local foods. Musicians are encouraged to bring banjos, fiddles, guitars, dobros, and mandolins to gather in groups and play the night away with a free drink offered to all those who bring an instrument to play.
All proceeds from the event series will go towards revitalization projects at the Cornelia Fort AirPark.
