Cheekwood Harvest kicks off September 21

Fall Festival returns with new Pumpkin House, Beer Garden, Scarecrows, and more.

Cheekwood is set to celebrate all things fall during Cheekwood Harvest, part of the estate and gardens’ year-round lineup of signature seasonal festivals. The festival offers activities and experiences designed to appeal to kids, adults and families alike, making this six-week celebration the perfect time for a peaceful solo stroll, a crisp fall family day, or an afternoon date.

 

Festival highlights include:

Pumpkin Houses and Patches
Don’t just pick pumpkins, step into the two Pumpkin Houses and experience them! These life-sized houses are fun for the whole family, with pumpkins available for purchasing.

Beer Garden
Enjoy live bluegrass music, tasty pub fare and beers on tap with our festive Beer Garden, open every Saturday, Sunday and Thursday evening during Cheekwood Harvest. Opens September 19.

Mum Explosion
Experience more than 5,000 colorful chrysanthemums planted throughout the gardens. 

Scarecrows
Silly and serious, frightening and friendly – scarecrows created by the Nashville community will invade the gardens this fall. 

 

Special Events

5th Annual Japanese Moon Viewing
September 22, 2019
Now celebrating its fifth year, the Japanese Moon Viewing event includes performances, activities, and food reflecting the Japanese o-tsukimi, or autumn moon-viewing tradition. 

Halloween Pooch Parade
October 26, 2019
Bring your four-legged friend to Cheekwood for our Halloween Pooch Parade. Costumed canines and their owners are invited to parade around the gardens for a fun morning stroll.

20th Annual El Día de los Muertos
November 2, 2019
Each year, Cheekwood brings the traditions of Mexico and Latin America to Nashville with a festival that includes traditional music and dance, vibrant art activities, and authentic cuisine. 

Cheekwood Harvest is included with general admission or membership.
