Nashville, TN – Corkdorks Midtown presents the 8th Nashville Whiskey Festival with three nights of events. The event begins with the annual “Women in Whiskey” panel mediated by Cary Ann Fuller of StraightUp615 at the Holiday Inn and Suites Nashville Convention Center from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Join Marianne Eaves, Molly Troupe, Ale Ochoa, Eboni Major, Nicole Austin, and Allisa Henley as they discuss their products, explain the process, and share the creative drive behind their creations. A private barrel selection of Weller full-proof bourbon with Allisa Henley of Sazerac Tennessee will take place for VIP ticket holders.
The festival continues with a new event known as the “World Beyond Whiskey” tasting where whiskey connoisseurs can explore other dark spirits such as rum, tequila, brandy, and cognac. This event will be an educational tasting for those who wish to expand the pallet beyond whiskey. The tasting event will take place Friday, September 13, 2019, from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Holiday Inn & Suites Downtown Nashville Convention Center.
The Nashville Whiskey festival’s “Corkdorks Whiskey U” seminars and “Grand Tasting Event” will be held September 14, 2019, at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Starting at 1pm, VIP festival-goers can take part of “Corkdorks Whiskey U” seminars preceding the “Grand Tasting Event” to learn about the nuances of whiskey. The seminars will be a time for master distillers, national brand educators, celebrity chefs, and social media influencers to educate enthusiasts on the science and history of whiskey distilling.
The “Grand Tasting Event” will start with a VIP hour from 5:30pm-6:30pm and general admission from 6:30pm-9:30pm. VIP ticket holders will be part of a special single barrel selection process of Elijah Craig Single Barrel, Blanton’s Single Barrel, Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Rye, and Four Roses Barrel Strength for Corkdorks Midtown to sell in stores.
