There's nothing better than getting together with hundreds of friends and listening to some great live music in Music City. There are a ton of music festivals happening during the summer months, or you can also take a look at the upcoming events and start planning your next trip to Nashville.

CMA Music Festival

There are plenty of major music festivals happening during the summer months starting with CMA Music Festival. The music is played outside including the free live music at Riverfront Park and the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium. Just to name a few, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and more rocked the stage at the 2019 CMA Fest.

Join the 80,000 fans during the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival which features a diverse lineup of 150+ musicians and more than 10 stages every year. TOOL, Lizzo, Miley Cyrus, Tame Impala, Lana Del Rey, and more are scheduled to perform this year. While you're there, be sure to stop at the Ville for surprise performances from Nashville artists as well as interactive and illuminated art installations. And it's all in a short drive to Manchester, TN.

Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th

Mark your calendars for the biggest party of the year, Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th held in Downtown Nashville. The 2021 lineup included Brad Paisley, Lilly Hiatt, Regi Wooten and Friends, Priscilla Block, & Nashville Symphony. Stay afterward for the largest 4th of July fireworks shows in the country.

Live on the Green

Finish the summer with free concerts every Thursday evening starting in August, and a three-day festival in September during Lightening 100s Live on the Green in Public Square Park. The 2019 lineup included X Ambassadors, Jimmy Eat World, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and more.

Musicians Corner
Musicians Corner

Head over to Centennial Park for Musicians Corner presenting free family-friendly live music on Fridays and Saturdays in May and June. The lineup will feature multi-genre and multicultural musical performances on the Main Stage and Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage, food trucks, the Pub, local artisan vendors, Kidsville activities, and featured community partners.
