Nashville likes to celebrate. The Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th party is definitely the biggest and best of the summer. There is a lot going on before and after the event that will make this trip one to remember. Nashville is so much fun that you'll be planning a trip back in no time.

Concacaf Gold Cup Semifinal
Start with a kick and end with a bang! See some of the world's best soccer players in the Concacaf Gold Cup Semifinal on Wednesday, July 3rd.

Free Concert & Fireworks
A free concert at Ascend Amphitheater featuring headliner Alejandro Aranda performing as Scarypoolparty, along with Bizz & Everyday People, and The Whigs will take place on Wednesday, July 3. Come as Kelly Sutton will emcee and introduce a mini fireworks show to coincide with a Gold Cup semifinal soccer match that evening.

Music City July 4th 5K/10K
Start your Independence Day with a run through the streets of Music City. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to run the 5K or 10K through Nashville on the morning of the 4th of July. All participants will receive a free t-shirt and finisher's medal when they cross the finish line.

Music City Hot Chicken Festival
Grab some lunch at the Music City Hot Chicken Festival at East Park, 11am-3pm, on July 4th. Some of Nashville's best hot chicken joints will be there serving their food. Home cooks will compete in the Amateur Cooking Contest. The first 500 through the gate get free samples!

Explore the Adventure Science Center before you head out to the lawn to get an unobstructed view of the downtown fireworks!

Summer Splash H2Oliday
With temperatures on the rise, the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is transforming into a water wonderland on July 6th, complete with slides, wet and wild games, splashy attractions, and more.
