- More than 62,000 shells will be shot, making it one of the largest fireworks shows in the country.
- Eighteen technicians from Pyro Shows will set up the show over the course of eight days.
- More than 36,000 pounds of explosives and 150 miles of wire will be used.
- Fifteen flatbed trailers mounted with fireworks will be used.
- Some 40,000 pounds of sand will be used to bury the largest shells.
- There will be more than 1,000 floating flares and special ghost shells as part of the show.
- The show’s finale will be the most powerful in Nashville history.
For those primarily interested in watching the fireworks, they are encouraged to go to the following locations that are part of the city’s July 4 event campus:
- Lower Broadway
- Ascend Amphitheater
- Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge
- Riverfront Park (with audio)
- The Green at Riverfront Park (with audio)
- Public Square Park (with audio)
- Music City Walk of Fame Park (with audio)
Video screens will be placed at Riverfront Park and at The Green at Riverfront Park, as well as on the Broadway Stage and at Ascend Amphitheater.
Those sitting in Ascend Amphitheater will be able to watch the Broadway Stage concert on screens, while those on Broadway will be able to watch the Nashville Symphony performance on screens.

In a new partnership, CMT will air a 90-minute live special that will include performances from headliner Brett Eldredge, highlights from Let Freedom Sing! and conclude with the acclaimed fireworks show. The show will be aired again right after the live broadcast.
National Championship Trophy presented by Dr Pepper
College football fans can take a free photo with The National Championship Trophy presented by Dr Pepper. This is the actual trophy for the upcoming 2019 season which will be awarded on the field at the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Jan. 13, 2020 in New Orleans. It weighs approximately 50 pounds and is made of 24-karat gold, stainless steel, and bronze.
- On July 3, Dr Pepper will sample full-size cans of the new Dr Pepper Dark Berry.
- On July 4 they will have samples and giveaways.
- At the Dr Pepper Football Toss, test your football throwing accuracy at the Dr Pepper inflatable can.
NCAA College World Series Trophy
The NCAA College World Series Trophy, which Nashville's own Vanderbilt University just won, will be on display at the Family Fun Zone in Music City Walk of Fame Park from 12-6pm. Stop by to see and grab a photo with it!

More Free Music
As part of “Start With a Kick & End With a Bang,” a free Family Fun Zone with activities and entertainment by DJ Robert Luke will take place on July 3 starting at noon at Music City Walk of Fame Park. Then you can jump over to Ascend Amphitheater at 3pm to hear free live music from Alejandro Aranda performing as Scarypoolparty, Bizz & Everyday People, and The Whigs before the Gold Cup Semifinal match at Nissan Stadium later that evening.

Concacaf Gold Cup Nashville
Later that evening, USA will take on Jamaica at Nissan Stadium during the Concacaf Gold Cup Semifinal match. It is the premier regional soccer championship that crowns the best national team in North, Central America and the Caribbean, featuring some of the hemisphere’s best players and teams.
