Nashville Superspeedway made history in June by welcoming America’s best drivers back to Middle Tennessee for the first time in 37 years! The inaugural Ally 400 NASCAR Cup Series race was scheduled for Father’s Day Sunday, June 20. This race was the centerpiece of a full NASCAR race weekend including the NASCAR Xfinity Series race and the Rackley Roofing 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.
IndyCar came to Nashville with the inaugural Big Machine Music City Grand Prix featuring races at a combination of superspeedways, short ovals, road courses, and temporary street circuits. For three days in August, the streets of Downtown Nashville came to life with the sounds of music from artists like Grand Ole Opry member Alan Jackson, food experiences, and racing, all spun into an experience you just had to be there to feel.
