Each autumn as the season changes so does the Frist Art Museum. New exhibits fill the halls offering both family and friends a chance to explore great art from ancient history to the present day. Exhibits open during October include: Terry Adkins: Our Sons and Daughters Ever on the Altar, Mel Ziegler: Flag Exchange, Jitish Kallat: Return to Sender, and We Count: First-Time Voters.

Current Exhibits @ The Parthenon in Centennial Park
The Parthenon in Centennial Park has continued to host changing art exhibitions in its galleries and to educate both Nashvillians and visitors about the legacy of the ancient Greeks and their impact on American civilization since the 1930s. Some of their current exhibits include: Music in the Park: Songs and Stories from Centennial Park 1896 – 2020, We Have a Vision: Nashville Women from the Centennial to Suffrage, and The Cowan Collection of American Art.

Developed before COVID-19 sent the country into quarantine, “Long Distance” has taken on new meaning in a socially distanced world. The exhibit at OZ Arts Nashville will be accessible online through photography and video, and by appointment. Nashville Jewish Film Festival @ Gordon Jewish Community Center
Held October 16-November 7, the Nashville Jewish Film Festival (NJFF) is a program of the Gordon Jewish Community Center (GJCC). In 2019 the Nashville Jewish Film Festival will celebrate its 19th year of bringing educational, entertaining, and thought-provoking Jewish-themed films throughout Nashville, Tennessee.
