Nashville Symphony | Teddy Abrams, conductor Time for Three, soloists

We end the Classical Series season as we started, celebrating the spirit of innovation in American music. GRAMMY®- and Emmy-winning trio Time for Three joins GRAMMY®-winning conductor Teddy Abrams for the genre-defying Silicon Hymnal by Mason Bates, a work blending orchestral sound with Bates' DJing and electronic textures, with their Americana flair. Mahler's Symphony No. 1 ("Titan") follows, a sweeping epic that journeys from youthful innocence to triumphant transformation. As part of our America 250 season, this concert embodies bold new directions and the power of musical storytelling that transcends boundaries.

Program:

  • Mason Bates: Silicon Hymnal*
  • Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 1 ("Titan")
