Pianist Pat Coil has toured Japan, South America, Europe and the U.S. with such artists as Michael McDonald, Carmen McCrae, Olivia Newton John, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Woody Herman and many others. Pat has recorded with many artists including Natalie Cole, Trisha Yearwood, Ernie Watts, Carmen McCrae, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Kenny Rogers, Travis Tritt, Peter Cetera, Woody Herman, Scott Henderson, and Michael McDonald.
During his L.A. years, Pat played on many movie and TV scores, including Star Trek - Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Murphy Brown, Dionne Warwick & Friends, Growing Pains, Major Dad, Spencer For Hire, The Grammy Awards and many more. He played for various artists on the Tonight Show, Arsenio Hall, & Conan O'Brien. Living now in Nashville TN, Pat continues his successful career composing, recording, performing, producing, arranging and teaching. He has composed, produced and performed on hundreds of underscores heard on a variety of media all over the world. Pat taught jazz piano, combos, and improvisation at Middle Tennessee State University, and was an Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at the University Of North Texas.
Pat has recorded six solo jazz albums of his own, the third one being a collaboration with Lyle Mays. "True North" and his new album "Birdhouse" are available at patcoil.com, cdbaby.com and I-Tunes. Saxophonist Mark Douthit has toured with Grammy Award winning jazz guitarist Larry Carlton from '02 to '08, as well as Grammy Award winning artists Vince Gill and Amy Grant from '06 to '10, and is currently touring with Michael McDonald. Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Mark Douthit attended Middle Tennessee State University & Cincinnatti Conservatory, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1984. Mark studied with renowned jazz educator Jerry Coker and has recorded with Lionel Richie, Elton John, Amy Grant, Billy Joel, Vanessa Williams, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr., Whitney Houston, Billy Ray Cyrus, Michael McDonald, Neville Brothers, Faith Hill, Vince Gill, Donny Osmond, Patty Loveless, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, LeAnn Rimes, Wynonna Judd and many others. Douthit has performed With Michael McDonald, Toto, Toni Braxton, Christopher Cross, Don Henley, Natalie Cole, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Larry Carlton, John Scofield, Take 6, Bob Carlisle, Billy Ray Cyrus, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Patti LaBelle, Donna Summer and many others. Mark has worked on major motion picture soundtracks as well as national radio and television commercials as well as CNN and Headline News for many years. Mark won the 1997 "Instrumental Album of the Year" Dove Award for "The Players", released solo cd entitled "Groove" on Hillsboro Records in 2002 followed by "December Morning" on Green Hill Records in 2006.
Barry Green is a professional brass player based out of Nashville, TN, specializing in studio recording and live performance since 1981. Barry has had extensive recording experience on trombone, bass trombone, and euphonium in genres ranging from Jazz, Gospel, and R&B, as well as extensive orchestral work with the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Huntsville Symphonies. Barry has had the opportunity to perform and record with many of the greatest names in music today. He has toured nationally and internationally with Larry Carlton, as well as throughout the United States with artists such as Vince Gill and Amy Grant. His album credits include artists such as Michael McDonald, Tony Bennett, Lee Ann Rhymes, and Keith Urban. Barry has also been active as a musician for television, movies and video games, including such recognizable titles as Lost in Space, Space Force, Call of Duty (Black Ops 3, 4, Cold War, Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare, WWII), Destiny 2, Halo, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Star Wars: (Jedi: Fallen Order, Squadrons, Knights of the Fallen Empire, Battlefront, Knights of the Eternal Throne).
Hailing from Columbus, Indiana, Brian Allen started playing the bass at age eleven. His playing won him several awards throughout high school, including the prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz award. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute. There he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music and also won the outstanding student of the year. Brian Allen was most recently on tour with Jonathan Davis of Korn in 2018. He is one of Nashville's top recording bassists. He was nominated Bass Player of the year by the Academy of Country Music in 2018. Brian is also teaching a clinic series that will be touring in 2019 called Rhythm Section Master Class. Brian has performed a diverse range of live shows as well as recording sessions. His playing spans the musical spectrum from jazz to rock and everything in between.
Wes Little is one of Nashville's most adaptable and multi-faceted drummers, as well as a top flight arranger, producer and songwriter. Formally trained in performance and composition at the Manhattan School of Music and shaped by years of studio and stage work with major acts from across the spectrum, Little brings complete musicality to every kind of gig. Currently a first call session drummer in Nashville, Little has also performed or recorded with Chuck D, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, John Legend, Melissa Etheridge, Robben Ford, Michael and Randy Brecker, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. He works in Nashville, where he lives and records daily in the studio.
