Juneteenth Celebration 2025

The Museum invites visitors to celebrate Juneteenth with a free event featuring musical guests, desserts and festivities. Families can enjoy Storytime and crafts activities throughout the day. Interact with Museum educators with and learn more about the artifacts with hands-on history and highlight tours in the gallery. There will also be a presentation on the new Photography in Tennessee: Early Studios and the Medium's First Century exhibition with Tranae Chatman, Tennessee State Museum curator of social history.
