Heritage Days

Step back in time and experience life on the frontier as skilled demonstrators and artisans bring historic trades to life. Guests will have the opportunity to SEE, FEEL, and TOUCH traditional skills, including blacksmithing, leatherworking, woodworking, fiber arts, and cooking.

Heritage Day invites guests to explore the frontier at their own pace and enjoy the demonstrations, artisans, and activities. April is also a beautiful time to enjoy the outdoors, so bring a blanket and make a day of it with a picnic on the lawn of the Bowen House or anywhere throughout Moss-Wright Park.

Heritage Day is open to the public as well as school or tour groups. For any group with 5 or more total guests, reservations are required in advance. For groups smaller than 5, reservations are encouraged.
