The hauntings at Two Rivers Mansion stem from a deep, multi-layered history. Paranormal activity is tied to Native American burial grounds, Civil War burials on the estate, and the original owners. The spirit of Mary Louise McGavock a past resident at the mansion is seen in a white dress. The Lady In Black is a more solemn, dark specter seen roaming the hallways. Historical and Soldier Spirits, During the Civil War, local cemeteries ran out of space, forcing both Union and Confederate soldiers to be buried on the property. Then there are Oddities and the 1802 House, Multiple staff members and groundskeepers have reported seeing a ghostly dog wandering the estate lines before fading away. The 1802 House: The smaller, older house situated across the yard from the main mansion is known to evoke intense feelings of sudden nausea, heaviness, and unexplained dread among investigators.
