Dolly Day at The Hermitage

In 1977, Dolly Parton brought her television show Dolly to Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. Now, you can follow in her footsteps!

On September 25, ALL guests will have the opportunity to step onto the iconic Hermitage balcony where Dolly stood during the filming of her show. Usually reserved for VIP tours, the balcony will be open to all Hermitage guests for this special celebration of Dolly's visit and the musical history of The Hermitage.

But the balcony isn't the only place where Dolly left her mark. As you explore the property, you'll have the chance to see other places she visited during filming, including the spiral staircase in the Entry Hall and the Family Cemetery.

Guests can also see the Old Hickory Gibson guitar, crafted from wood salvaged from trees damaged by the 1998 tornado at The Hermitage, on special display.

And, in true Dolly fashion, we're making lunch a little sweeter! All sandwiches, sides, and drinks at Andrew & Rachel's Café will be just $9.25 in honor of Dolly.
