"Rivers belong where they can ramble, eagles belong where they can fly..." Stephen Schwartz burst onto the New York Theatre Scene right out of college in the early 1970's. By the time he was twenty-six, he had three shows running on Broadway, the youngest composer to achieve that feat. His first Broadway musical was Pippin, and five decades later he's still creating musical magic. But what if five decades of storytelling could be traced back to his first "I want" song? What if all the worlds and wonders he gave us were contained in "Corner of the Sky"? What if he'd shown us how to defy gravity from the very beginning? Conceived and created by Middle Tennessee born Scott Coulter, this brand-new revue of iconic Stephen Schwartz songs will delight audiences with some of his most uplifting and beloved songs.
