Alana Cruz is a singer-songwriter originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, now based in Nashville (Brentwood), Tennessee. From age 7, she took singing lessons and joined Acapop! KIDS, an all-kids a cappella group created by Pentatonix's Sco Hoying. Now 16, she frequents Music City's legendary writers' rounds, performing on piano and guitar with a catalog of over 100 original songs to her name. Signed to EMPIRE, Alana carries the raw emotional depth of Amy Winehouse, the confessional songwriting of Olivia Dean, and the cinematic pull of Lana Del Rey — a distinctly pop sound, deeply felt and mature far beyond her years.
