The Blair Jazz Trio with Pat Coil, Dan Hitchcock, Rob Linton, and Marc Widenhofer

Four faculty members from Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music bring decades of performing and recording experience to Rudy's stage for an evening of jazz. Pianist Pat Coil has toured with Michael McDonald and Amy Grant; saxophonist Dan Hitchcock draws from the romantic tenor traditions of Stan Getz and Ben Webster, while bassist Rob Linton and drummer Marc Widenhofer round out a group that balances active professional careers with teaching the next generation. The result is polished, deeply informed jazz played by musicians who know this music inside and out.
