To kick off the celebration, the hotel is partnering with event producer Deryck Todd to bring back Bath & Body, a rooftop pool party at The Pool Club featuring DJ entertainment, drag performances, and much more.
The event will take place on Friday, May 30 and will feature an appearance and special performance from special guest Shea Couleé, a beloved contestant from RuPaul's Drag Race. There will also be drag performances by Nashville artists Bitter Betty, Chaz Sanders, Zxa, Faye Ludes, Justine Van de Blair, Nashville In Harmony, Nashville Opera, and Tony Baby. Hosts for the evening's revelry include LGBTQ+ activist and local icon Vidalia Anne Gentry along with Arsyn, Cya Inhale, Eden Ash, Josh Owens, Shelby LaBanks, Shoshana Van de Blair, and Young Music City. DJs and musical performances will be provided by Amber Valentine, Afro Sheen, Griffin Green, and Aaron Monty. There will also be a silent auction benefiting Nashville Launch Pad, a local charity dedicated to creating safe spaces that affirm the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ young adults experiencing homelessness in Middle Tennessee.
Tickets for the extravaganza, which kicks off at 6PM and is scheduled to run until 2AM, are available via Eventbrite with general admission starting at $37 and meet & greet with Shea Couleé starting at $60. Event partners include Nashville Pride, Nashville Scene, Absolut, Music City Prep Clinic, Malibu, Nashville Black Pride, Nashville Film Festival, Nashville Queer History, Red Bull, and Semper Laser.
