Kisser

Led by Chefs Leina Horii and Brian Lea, Kisser is a 40-seat Japanese comfort food restaurant in East Nashville. Described as an "homage to the Japanese kissaten," or a cozy, neighborhood tea shop, the concise menu embraces local ingredients and is designed for sharing. Menu highlights include the onigiri, chicken katsu sandwich, and miso crème brûlée. Recently awarded to the 2025 MICHELIN Guide's Bib Gourmand list, Kisser has also been named to Garden & Gun's 2025 Hot List, Food & Wine's Best New Chefs Class of 2024, Bon Appetit's Best New Restaurants of 2024, and 2024 James Beard Awards Finalist for Best New Restaurant.
