The Truth Announces 'Miranda Lambert: One Night Only' for October 1 Opening Night

Special Performance Featuring 12-Piece String Section on the Eve of Lambert’s New Album, Crisco, Will Mark the First Show at Nashville’s Newest Stage.

NASHVILLE, TN – The Truth today announced that three-time GRAMMY Award-winner and winningest artist in Academy of Country Music history Miranda Lambert will headline its inaugural performance on Thursday, October 1, opening Nashville’s new 4,400-capacity venue in Wedgewood-Houston.

Presented as "Miranda Lambert: One Night Only," the opening-night performance will feature a 12-piece string section as Lambert performs her wide-ranging catalog of hits and previews a selection of songs off her highly anticipated new album, Crisco, ahead of its release at midnight that evening.

“It was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record, and I can’t wait to bring that to life in an even bigger way with our full setlist,” shared Lambert. “We’ve never gotten to play that way on stage, and to have the opportunity to do it for the first time at the opening of a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville is going to be really special.”

The event marks the beginning of a new chapter for Nashville’s live music scene and sets the tone for The Truth’s mission to be a room where great songs, singular artists and unexpected live experiences can take center stage.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m. CT at thetruthnashville.com.
