NASHVILLE, TN – Tacos El Terry, a Mexico City-style taqueria in Nashville’s iconic entertainment district, is opening tomorrow, Thursday, October 22 at 4th and Broadway. Tacos El Terry is a new concept from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, which opened Aba in Wedgewood-Houston and Sushi-san at 12 South. In the heart of Broadway, located near Bridgestone Arena and Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater, Tacos El Terry will serve lunch, dinner and late-night daily. Guests order at the counter as expert taqueros prepare street-style tacos and quesadillas with fresh ingredients and expertly sourced meats.
“We had the pleasure of partnering with a family from Northern Mexico to create this concept. Tacos El Terry is inspired by their weekly visits to a taco stand to enjoy what they still consider to be the best tacos they’ve ever had, made by a man nicknamed El Terry. We’re excited to bring those flavors to Nashville,” said Ben Goodnick, Chef Partner, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants.
The menu includes tacos and quesadillas, made with simple, quality ingredients: Pollo Asado, Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Mixta (a combination of Pollo Asado, Al Pastor and Carne Asada; available for tacos only), and Grilled Avocado. Tacos are served with chopped onions, cilantro and avocado salsa, plus an option to order “Terry’s Way”-- any taco on a red corn tortilla griddled crispy with melted cheese. A la carte sides include Chips and Guacamole, Esquites and Chiles Toreados (grilled jalapeños and knob onions).
Drinks include frozen Margaritas and Palomas, Mexican Coca-Cola, Jarritos, aguas frescas and Mexican beers.
Tacos El Terry will offer carryout, a pickup window, delivery, and large-format office and party catering. The quick-service taqueria at 111 4th Ave S. will operate Sunday - Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. - 12 a.m., and Friday - Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Sing Bar, a new live music bar concept from Lettuce Entertain You, will open upstairs at a later date.
