For the summer 2027 season, Air France will expand its network with two new routes to the United States. Starting in May 2027, the airline will fly for the first time to Nashville, Tennessee and San Diego, California, on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. These new routes will be flown using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with three weekly flights each.
Air France has unveiled the first new additions to its flight schedule for the summer 2027 season (April–October 2027). The airline plans to strengthen its presence in North America with the launch of two new routes to the United States.
Starting May 3, 2027, Air France will operate three weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and San Diego. California’s second-most populous city will be served on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by Airbus A350-900.
A few days later, on May 14, 2027, Nashville will join the airline’s network. Air France will operate three weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and the Tennessee capital, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, also by Airbus A350-900. As a tribute to Dolly Parton, an iconic country music figure closely associated with Nashville, flights between Paris and the city will carry the flight number AF046—a nod to 1946, the year the artist was born.
Air France will be the only airline to operate nonstop flights from Paris to these two destinations, as well as the only airline to serve Nashville from continental Europe.

Nashville, the birthplace of country music
Located on the banks of the Cumberland River in Tennessee, Nashville owes its fame to country music, earning it the nickname “Music City.” The birthplace of numerous artists, the city moves to the rhythm of concerts and melodies that fill its bars and music venues every day. Beyond its musical identity, Nashville charms visitors with its rich heritage, neoclassical architecture and lively neighborhoods, where restaurants, cafés and boutiques create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Combining cultural vibrancy with a rich historical heritage, the city offers an authentic immersion in the heart of American culture.
San Diego, the California way of life
Nestled along the Pacific coast at California’s southern tip, San Diego charms visitors with its Mediterranean climate, roughly 300 days of sunshine per year and distinctly laid-back atmosphere. Framed by long stretches of beach and sheltered bays, the city is an ideal setting for surfing, strolling around Coronado Island, or admiring the coastal scenery of La Jolla. The city also stands out for its rich cultural heritage, with museums, gardens and historic buildings. Combining a relaxed lifestyle, vibrant neighborhoods, and vast natural spaces, San Diego is also an ideal gateway for exploring Southern California.
San Diego is also served by KLM, with up to three weekly flights from Amsterdam-Schiphol airport.
