Pushing Daisies Celebrates Dia de los Muertos with "Dia de las Daisies" Pop-Up
The Nashville cocktail bar will transform for a limited-time Dia de los Muertos celebration featuring themed decor and specialty cocktails.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Pushing Daisies, a popular upscale, underground margarita bar in the heart of downtown Nashville, is getting into the spirit of Dia de los Muertos with Dia de las Daisies, a limited-time celebration bringing themed decor, specialty cocktails, and a festive atmosphere to the Nashville cocktail bar for the week of October 27 through November 1.
Beginning October 27, Pushing Daisies will transform with Dia de los Muertos-inspired decor, creating a colorful setting for guests to celebrate the Mexican holiday, a celebration of family and memory, throughout the week. On Halloween, October 31, the Pushing Daisies team will take the theme one step further by decking themselves out in Dia de los Muertos-inspired sugar skull makeup for the day.
“Dia de las Daisies is one of our favorite celebrations of the year, and we’re so excited to bring it back this year,” says General Manager Jennifer Ward. “It’s a fun and festive way to celebrate Halloween in the heart of downtown Nashville, with great cocktails, colorful decor, and the signature Pushing Daisies atmosphere our guests love.”
From October 27 to November 1, the margarita bar will offer a truncated menu featuring a selection of signature cocktails, beer and wine, along with bottle service. The promotional Dia de las Daisies menu will be available October 30 through November 1 and features cocktails ranging from classic tequila creations to mezcal and rum-forward drinks.
Highlights from the limited-edition drink menu include their fan-favorite margaritas, including the Classic, made with Corazon Blanco tequila, agave, and salted lime; the Spicy, with Blanco tequila, serrano and jalapeno spiced agave, and tart lime; and the Devil’s Vice, made with jalapeno-soaked blanco tequila, smashed strawberry, clementine, blistered shishito, and finishing salt.
Pushing Daisies will also offer specialty cocktails, like the Santa Muerte, a blend of blanco, reposado, and anejo tequilas with naranja agria, pineapple, habanero grenadine, and Fyre Island; the Negroni Noir, a cocktail made with Ilegal Joven Mezcal, pineapple Campari, perfect vermouth, and activated charcoal; and the Daq Before Death, with Plantation Pineapple rum, anejo tequila, fresh lime, and sugar cane.
Guests can also enjoy a selection of limited-edition shots, including the Mexican Spark Plug, made with reposado tequila, Borghetti espresso liqueur, cold brew, and horchata creme, and the Sandia Loco, featuring blanco tequila, fresh watermelon, and spicy salt.
Dia de las Daisies will be live at Pushing Daisies October 27 through November 1, with the promotional menu available October 30 through November 1. During this pop-up, Pushing Daisies will be open for the following hours:
