NASHVILLE, TN – This June, the global culinary spotlight shifts to Nashville as it becomes host for the first time ever to The Rare Tour, a prestigious international celebration of steak excellence. From June 9–11, 2026, the city’s own Prime + Proper will serve as the exclusive host, welcoming Stockholm’s acclaimed steak restaurants AG for a historic three-night transatlantic collaboration.

The selection of Nashville underscores the city's meteoric rise as a premier dining destination. Prime + Proper Nashville, recognized as one of the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, was chosen to host this inaugural event due to its uncompromising "Prime Meats, Proper Service" philosophy. The restaurant features a world-class in-house butchery and a disciplined dry-aging program that rivals the finest institutions on the planet.

Joining them is Stockholm’s AG, currently ranked No. 8 in the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants. Led by Chef-Owner Johan Jureskog and 2025’s "Meat Master of the Year" Martin Kjäll, AG is making its highly anticipated American debut, bringing Scandinavian precision and European fire-cooking techniques to the heart of Tennessee.

Set across three exclusive evenings, The Rare Tour Nashville promises a rare and highly anticipated encounter between two powerful culinary identities from opposite sides of the Atlantic. The celebrated Swedish restaurant will present its distinctive steak expertise in the United States for the first time.
