Nashville Welcomes Nintendo of America for “Nashville Pikmin Gathering,” a Downtown Pikmin Experience

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — This fall, Nintendo of America brings the Pikmin world to Music City for Nashville Pikmin Gathering, an activation taking place in downtown Nashville throughout October.

Presented in partnership with The Broadway Entertainment Association, Nashville Pikmin Gathering will invite visitors and Nashville residents to explore downtown. Through the month of October, Pikmin can be seen in locations throughout the downtown area, giving participants a reason to explore some of the city’s most recognizable destinations. Also, in the Pikmin Bloom mobile app* there will be a free interactive MINI WALK in the downtown area.

Pikmin are plantlike creatures that are resourceful and always ready to lend a hand. You’ll see them in a variety of colors and shapes. Each type has their own unique ability to help you along your journey. Discover their world through multiple Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games, and on your mobile device.

About Pikmin Bloom MINI WALK

Pikmin Bloom MINI WALK is a mini-event in which the Pikmin Bloom mobile app collaborates with festivals and events held in various areas. Visitors can interact with Special Spots set up at the event site to obtain in-app Gold Seedlings for Decor Pikmin related to each spot. There will be seven Special Spots available around the Nashville downtown area during this program.

The Nashville Pikmin Gathering will come to life during two activation weekends, October 3–4 and October 31–November 1. During those weekends, a pop-up tent at Nashville Walk of Fame Park will serve as the starting point for the experience. Participants can stop by the tent between the hours of 10am-6pm CT to learn more about Pikmin and begin their walk through downtown.

Participants are encouraged to have the Pikmin Bloom mobile app ready as they explore. The app will bring additional interactive experiences to the walk, including in-app rewards related to the downtown Nashville area. With the second activation weekend falling on Halloween, Nashville Pikmin Gathering will offer families a fun way to spend part of their Halloween weekend exploring downtown together.

Whether participants search for Pikmin in storefronts, partake in the MINI WALK, or are simply looking for a new way to experience Downtown Nashville, the walk offers an opportunity to get outside, explore the city and discover Pikmin along the way.

The Broadway Entertainment Association is the official local partner for the activation, helping bring Nashville Pikmin Gathering to the heart of downtown and creating another opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the district in a new way. Nashville Pikmin Gathering will remain active throughout October. During that time, participants can discover Pikmin in different locations in downtown Nashville. The on-site pop-up tent activation at Nashville Walk of Fame Park will take place during the two designated weekends.
