The 22nd annual fundraising event benefiting the Nashville Symphony will be held at Schermerhorn Symphony Center April 27, 2027; kick-off party and trunk show hosted by Gus Mayer Oct. 28-29, 2026, will launch festivities.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Nashville Symphony announced today that Lela Rose will be the featured designer at the 22nd annual Symphony Fashion Show, marking her second time to headline the Symphony’s Spring fundraiser. The Symphony Fashion Show will take place April 27, 2027, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center and will showcase the Fall/Winter 2027 collection from the Texas-born, New York-based womenswear designer.
For more than three decades, Lela Rose has been beloved by fashion-forward women for her distinctive and appealing blend of lively florals, geometric patterns, bold use of color, and unexpected finishing details, drawing on the designer’s fine art background and feminine sensibilities.
“We are delighted to welcome Lela Rose back to Nashville for the Symphony Fashion Show, and we hope everyone will mark their calendars to join us on April 27 for this special night,” said 2027 Symphony Fashion Show co-chairs Natalie Clements and Mayra Lehman-Grimes. “We believe that fashion should be fun, and we adore Lela Rose’s fabulous prints and timeless silhouettes. We can't wait to share more details in the coming months about what we have planned, and we look forward to welcoming friends, new and old, to the beautiful Schermerhorn Symphony Center next April in support of our magnificent Nashville Symphony.”
“The Symphony Fashion Show has become one of the most beloved events in Nashville, as well as one of the most significant fundraisers for the Nashville Symphony, and we are so grateful to Lela Rose for her continued support,” said Nashville Symphony CEO and President Mark Tillinger. “Our co-chairs Natalie and Mayra have been hard at work for months on planning an exquisite evening that will celebrate music, fashion, and art, all while raising important funds for our world-class orchestra and the breadth of our community and educational programs.”
“I am so excited to be heading back to Nashville for the Symphony Fashion Show next spring!” said Lela Rose. “I had the most wonderful time in 2022, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be invited back. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good party, and the ladies of Nashville certainly know how to throw one! What makes this event even more special is the opportunity to support the Nashville Symphony and its incredible music education programs. Bringing people together through fashion, music, and a little celebration is what I love most, and I can’t think of a better reason to do just that. I can’t wait to share my newest collection and reconnect with all of the fabulous women of Nashville!”
The official festivities for the 2027 Symphony Fashion Show will commence at the annual Kick-Off Party at Gus Mayer on Monday, October 27, 2026. The invitation-only event will be followed by a two-day trunk show that is open to the public at the Green Hills boutique on October 28 and 29, featuring Lela Rose’s Spring 2027 collection. Gus Mayer has partnered with the Symphony Fashion Show for 17 years to secure participation from world-renowned fashion designers and to help produce the show.
Launched in 2006, the Symphony Fashion Show raises funds for the Nashville Symphony and its year-round educational and community programs. Past designers have included Oscar de la Renta, Pamella Roland, Prabal Gurung, Carolina Herrera, Brandon Maxwell, and Monique Lhuillier. The 22nd annual Symphony Fashion Show will be co-chaired by Natalie Clements and Mayra Lehman-Grimes. Ashley Rosen will serve as executive chair, and Bruce Pittman will return as event planner.
The Symphony Fashion Show, presented by Gus Mayer, will be held on April 27, 2027, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
